Peg and Elise, thank you for such a fun, educational, and all around wonderful adventure. Your kindness, sense of humor and guidance were truly appreciated. You two are rock stars!! Preparing for the Buffalo trip was motivating and got me moving more than I have in years. And on the tour I felt like a kid again going out every day to ride my bike with friends. I’ll be recalling and smiling at the memories for a long time. What you’ve created with Peony is super special.

Recently did a tour of the Ghost Town trail with PWBT. Loved every minute of it. Okay, maybe not the uphill climb to Ebensburg but everything else was great. Peg and Elise were very helpful and knowledgeable. The other women on the ride were super supportive and accepting. Will defiantly do another ride!

I completed the 4 day Buffalo bike tour with Peony Women's Bike Tours. The owners Peg Schmidt and Elise Yun did an excellent job planning everything. Accommodations were perfect, suggestions for meals were spot on and their leading the tour was perfect. They provide you tips and tricks of how to conquer your first (or second, or third) bike tour and make sure everyone is comfortable. I am seventy-five years old , riding a 25 year old Schwinn hybrid bike. If you are looking for an easy to moderate tour, this Buffalo tour is great. Excellent leaders, beautiful views and good company.

I joined the Peony Women’s Bike Tour group on the Ghostown Trail ride in August. I can’t recommend this fantastic group enough! I had never biked with a tour group, biked 32 miles in a day, let alone two days in row! I’d never used panniers or done an overnight trip… These were a lot of firsts for me, and Peg and Elise are such fantastic group leaders! Though this was all new to me, I felt prepared enough to take on the challenge! It was amazing to feel so supported and encouraged by all the women in the group. I learned so much and will 100% sign up for another! I feel so accomplished and proud of myself.

Peg and Elise were excellent tour leaders. I did the ride with them to West Newton and back last year. At that time, it was to be the longest bike ride I would do and my first bike camping experience. With their guidance and support, I knew that I could complete the ride and have fun along the way. They looked out for the entire group and one would stay back if someone was having bike trouble or needed support. They are a great team and I can't wait to go on another ride with them soon!

I recently went on the Intro to Touring ride with Peony Women's Bike Tours. It was so much fun! I was so worried I wouldn't be able to handle the distance, but they made it so easy! The other people on the tour were a lot of fun, too. Never a boring moment! The Airbnb we stayed in overnight was amazing as well. I highly recommend Peony.

I wanted to bike the GAP and found Peg and Elise’s company doing the exact trip through a google search. I sent an email asking a few questions and Peg replied immediately.

Our trip occurred in the middle of a heat wave but Peg and Elise went above and beyond to keep us all safe and well cared for. On the first night, at a welcome dinner, they helped us learn about the other women in the group and the bonding began immediately. There were only nine of us and the small size was perfect for connecting with everyone. We arrived strangers and left friends.

Along the way we saw beautiful scenery and wildlife, enjoyed some river swimming, met interesting people, and ate great meals.

If you’re looking for an encouraging group of women to ride bikes with, have some laughs with, and knock a well know trail off your bucket list in the process, this is the company to do it with! I can’t wait to join Peg and Elise on future biking adventures.

Peg and Elise were the perfect guides to this newbie bike touring gal. I am planning to ride the GAP trail in September and was looking for some guidance in trail riding. Peony Women’s Bike Tours was the best! They made sure we all had the right equipment and did safety checks on our bike. They explained the rules of the road before we started. This trip was a bit of a leap for me as I've never done a bike tour before and signed up by myself. The week before the trip we started seeing forecasts for a heat wave ... temps in the mid to upper 90's! Peg and Elise did an amazing job adjusting their plans to take care of us through the beastly conditions! It made all the difference!! The ride was challenging (at times) but never unmanageable, beautiful, and super gratifying! The other women were friendly, fun, and kind, and I feel like I have 8 new friends as a result of our time together. I can't wait until my next ride with Peony Bike Tours. Do it!!
